Imaged Jupiter. An image:

08/21/98 03:30 - 05:25 AM EST
Imaged Jupiter at too high power. I had the camera too far above the eyepiece and there is a spot on the lower right of Jupiter that is caused by a small speck on the CCD's window. One of the Galilean moons appears on the right limb with its shadow to the left.
Some images though:

08/06/98 04:53 - 05:05 AM EST
Some auroras seen and photo'd from Maryland using Pentax Spotmatic with 55mm f/1.8 lens using Kodak Gold 400...~10 second exposures :)

08/02/98 04:30 AM EST
Imaged Jupiter with the Topica camera. A few or several images were stacked in Adobe to produce each resulting image. Used 8" f/6 Dobsonian on an equitorial mount with a 7.5mm eyepiece. The camera 3 inches or so above the eyepiece. Effective focal length or magnification unknown..

08/01/98 04:30 AM EST
