A Moon-Dog imaged with the Nikon CoolPix 950
02/14/00 ~ 02:45 UT Orion is just past due south...
Image of Orion shot thru a Nikon CoolPix 950 camera, an 80 second exposure. Bush
branches occupy the lower portion of the image.
10 -- 8 second images were integrated in Adobe Photoshop to make this rewulting
image. The images were taken on 640x480 setting or lower image
size setting with medium compression. The camera was minimally configured
shooting at ISO 80. Next attempts will be with increased ISO setting to "+2" setting
for "aperature Mode" which may be around ISO 200, not sure, and at a resolution of
1600x1200 with highest image quality (or lowest compression) settings. I think this
camera will be great on planets, I can't wait for the weather to clear!
